Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Stocker/Cashier, where you'll play a vital role in creating an engaging shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities Ability to heavy lift 50+ lbs and keep items & stock organized Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure products are readily available and visually appealing Operate cash registers accurately during retail sales transactions, including cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) system usage Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos when applicable, and guide them through their shopping experience Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom areas Upsell products by recommending additional items that enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Handle cash drawer operations with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling and reconciliation at shift end Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring product placement aligns with store standards Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is required; training will be provided Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities are a plus Basic math skills for cash register operations and retail math calculations Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising techniques is advantageous Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities within the team Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks associated with stocking duties This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their retail expertise while delivering outstanding service.
