We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Fuel Oil Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will safely load, transport, and deliver heating fuel oil to residential & commercial customers while providing reliable, courteous service. The ideal candidate has commercial driving experience, a strong safety record, and the ability to work independently while staying in communication with dispatch and customers. Responsibilities Safely load fuel oil at the terminal and deliver it to residential customer tanks Operate a fuel delivery truck in accordance with company procedures, DOT requirements, and all traffic laws Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently while responding professionally to schedule changes or delivery issues Inspect the vehicle before and after each shift and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns Safely operate delivery equipment, hoses, meters, and related tools Accurately complete delivery tickets, mileage logs, fuel records, and other required documentation Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status, customer access issues, route changes, and emergencies Provide professional, courteous service to customers at every delivery Maintain a clean truck and comply with all company safety, environmental, and spill-prevention procedures Work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions, including winter conditions Qualifications Valid CDL required Tanker endorsement required Hazmat endorsement required Current DOT medical card Safe driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements Prior heating oil, propane, fuel delivery, tanker, or commercial driving experience preferred Ability to operate a manual-transmission commercial vehicle preferred Knowledge of DOT regulations, commercial vehicle safety practices, and basic vehicle inspections Strong time-management, communication, and customer-service skills Ability to safely handle delivery hoses and perform the physical duties of the position

Pay:

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
