The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality coffee and food items, and manage transactions accurately. Duties Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items following established recipes and food safety standards. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments with precision, utilizing cash handling skills. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and serving counters. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions about menu items, and addressing any concerns promptly. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Uphold health standards related to food service and safety protocols at all times. Experience Previous barista experience is preferred, especially familiarity with coffee preparation techniques. Experience in food service or retail environments is advantageous. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and customer satisfaction.
