Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process sales quickly and accurately while providing friendly assistance to customers Manage cash handling duties, including counting cash, making change, and balancing registers at shift end Deliver excellent customer service by addressing questions, guiding product selections, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Conduct product demos and upselling to promote store merchandise and increase sales opportunities Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness Support inventory management through stock checks, product replenishment, and participating in stock audits Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Prior cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage bilingual customers effectively Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy Knowledge of POS systems and cashiering procedures essential for smooth operations Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, stocking shelves, and moving merchandise Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and proactive attitude This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the shopping experience!
