Surface Warfare Analyst

Former Surface Warfare Officer (SWO), Limited Duty Officer (LDO), Chief Warrant Officer (CWO), or Senior Enlisted (E6-E9) with a minimum of 10 years US Navy Active duty experience Must have Combat Systems experience related to Aegis Combat System Must have experience on Surface Combatant Ships to include a deployment in support of battle group operations Must be a U.S. Citizen, possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance• Desired, but not required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution Demonstrated experience in any of the following areas: Completion of ship deployment in support of strike group operations Test and Evaluation experience Tactics development and evaluation Officer of the Deck (OOD) qualification Tactical Action Officer (TAO) qualification Navy Instructor/Master Training Specialist (MTS) Specialty fleet systems qualifications •Maintaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves periodic comprehensive background checks. Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.
