Job Summary We're on the lookout for an energetic and friendly Cashier to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first face our guests see, helping create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Your main focus will be handling retail sales transactions smoothly, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the overall flow of the shop. If you love engaging with people and have a knack for retail operations, this is your chance to shine! Must have pretty open availability for the full paid amount. Weekends are required along with a couple weekday nights here and there. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist them with their purchases at the cash register. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales accurately. Manage cash drawer handling with attention to detail and accountability. Upsell products and promote specials or new items to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area, including stocking supplies when needed. Answer questions about our menu items and merchandise. Use phone etiquette skills to answer inquiries professionally and courteously. Run food to customers Maintain cleanliness of the dining room Experience Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is a plus. Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are beneficial for connecting with diverse customers. Experience in grocery stores or retail environments involving merchandising and stock management is advantageous. Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately. Prior supervising experience can be helpful but is not mandatory; we value team players eager to learn.
