Job Summary In this energetic role, you will participate in door-to-door canvassing and other voter outreach efforts to help re-elect Senator Laura Ellman as well as other Democratic candidates up and down the ballot in the upcoming November 3rd, 2026 General Election. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference while honing your leadership and communication abilities in various environments. Responsibilities Door-to-door canvassing & data collection Communicate campaign messaging and accomplishments Attend political events on behalf of and/or with the Senator Phone/Text banking Volunteer recruitment and management Any other campaign-related tasks, as needed Requirements Experience with canvassing, door-to-door outreach, preferred but not required Excellent face-to-face communication skills with the ability to connect authentically with diverse audiences. Comfortable walking outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions. A background in VoteBuilder and MiniVan is preferred, but not required Ability to work weekends and long hours. Detail-oriented and comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment Access to a reliable vehicle. Travel is required. Positive attitude and a commitment to electing Democrats. Bilingual skills are a plus to reach broader communities effectively. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Outgoing personality with a passion for outdoor work and grassroots activism. Ability to operate mobile devices efficiently for data collection and reporting purposes.
