Duties Conduct door-to-door outreach in neighborhoods to inform residents about political candidates or issues Engage in face-to-face conversations to educate voters, answer questions, and gather feedback Use mobile devices to record interactions, track canvassing progress, and update campaign data in real time Distribute campaign materials and promotional items to community members Build rapport with diverse community members through conversational engagement and active listening Participate in outdoor work environments, walking neighborhoods extensively to maximize outreach efforts Support fundraising initiatives by encouraging community support and volunteer involvement Requirements Prior experience in field sales, canvassing, or community engagement preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to connect authentically with diverse audiences Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for team coordination roles Bilingual abilities to effectively communicate with non-English speaking community members are highly valued Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods while walking neighborhoods using transportation methods such as walking or biking Customer service experience that emphasizes respectful and positive interactions Familiarity with mobile devices for data entry and communication purposes Demonstrated ability to conduct face-to-face conversations with confidence and professionalism Experience in fundraising or grassroots campaigning is advantageous Join us if you're passionate about making a difference through direct community engagement!
