They serve as the primary point of contact for members, assisting with account openings, transactions, loan support, and administrative tasks. The MSR ensures confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial information while actively identifying opportunities to meet members' financial needs. Their focus is on creating a positive and welcoming experience that fosters trust and satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities Deliver outstanding service to members, retirees, employees, and the Board of Directors by addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. Open new accounts, issue debit cards, and process member requests with attention to detail. Conduct teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments while maintaining accurate cash drawer reconciliation. Assist members with loan applications by explaining terms, interest rates, and repayment options; promote additional products or services based on member needs. Respond promptly to member questions or complaints with accurate information and professional courtesy. Maintain confidentiality of member information in compliance with policies and regulations. Perform branch opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security protocols. Identify suspicious activity or potential fraud and report findings appropriately. Conduct audits of credit union documents and maintain accurate member files. Support compliance efforts by adhering to operational policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in committee activities as assigned and may serve as a Membership Officer. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform duties involving standing, sitting, and bending as needed. Work Environment This position operates in a collaborative small credit union environment that requires flexibility, adaptability, confidentiality, and a willingness to support multiple operational areas. Reporting Structure Reports directly to the CEO, with support and guidance provided by the Assistant Manager.
Compensation Range Expected Hiring Range:
$24.00 - $25.00 per hour Placement within the range will be based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated competency in member service responsibilities.
