Job Description
This is a full-time position with Saturday rotation (out by 12:30 pm). HRCU is a community credit union providing top notch service to our members and making a difference to our communities. A Member Service Representative provides account information, opens accounts, originates loan applications, conducts transactions, and recommends additional products and services with exceptional member service. Some of the duties and responsibilities include: Interviews members to obtain information and explain available financial products and services, such as savings and checking accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts, Certificates of Deposit, Business and Non-profit accounts. Opens accounts and performs necessary file maintenance ensuring proper documentation and procedures are followed. Assists with various administrative duties such as but not limited to deposit verification, filing and collating. Originates loan applications, forwards documents for processing, closes loans. Acts as liaison between members and various departments reporting member concerns, problem solves, and provide a satisfactory resolution within procedures and policies. May provide teller duties such as receives cash and checks for deposit and loan payments. May be responsible for branch opening and or closing. May assume a leadership role in the event of an emergency.
