GlenArbor Golf Club Position:
Guardhouse Ambassador Looking for someone to work afternoon shifts from 3
  • 8pm Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Sunday from Mid August through November Job Description The Guardhouse Ambassador is a critical member of the hospitality team, since it is the first point of contact for members and guests of the club.
Successful candidates will be extroverted and professional in appearance, with the ability to gather and organize visitor information and communicate those details effectively to the rest of the service team. The ability to build relationships with the membership and exude positive attitude are essential requirements for this position.
Responsibilities include:
  • Welcoming all members and guests to the club with a smile
  • Granting entrance to club and passing along details to service personnel via radio transmission
  • Accurately recording the details of all visits into the guard log
  • Learning member names and faces through detail-oriented approach and the use of member reference manual
  • Understand and follow all safety protocols Requirements
  • Must be able to work independently and be extremely detail-oriented
  • Must have an outgoing and welcoming personality
  • Must be reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of member and guest privacy
  • High School Education or GED preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Physical Requirements
  • Moderate physical activity. Requires standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. Benefits
