Beverage Merchandiser, Seasonal

Pine State Beverage is currently looking for Seasonal Merchandisers to assist our Sales Division during the summer months. We would be looking for new hires to onboard when available in May or June, with an end date, late August and early September. The Merchandiser would cover accounts throughout Cumberland and York counties. The position would be responsible for stocking and rotating various product lines on shelves and in coolers, setting up new displays, and organizing and rotating products in storage rooms. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently during the set scheduled start times throughout the week, have a strong work ethic, and a passion and enthusiasm for the beverage industry. This position is labor intensive, requiring lifting, loading, pushing, and pulling cases weighing from 20-45 pounds per case, as well as bending, reaching, and squatting while merchandising and moving products.

Compensation:

$18.90 per hour. Mileage reimbursement. Cell phone stipend. 401k with employer match, after 90 days of employment

Territory:

covering accounts throughout the Greater Portland area, which includes travel to the Freeport and Brunswick area.

Qualifications:

Valid driver s license and safe driving record along with reliable transportation, required. Ability to understand verbal and written instructions. Physical ability to lift, carry, and rotate products daily. Time-management skills and ability to work independently. Willingness to work within safety and customer service guidelines established at each account. Flexibility to work extended hours as needed, including weekends.

Physical Requirements:

Regular and sustained periods of strenuous physical exertion requiring ability to lift, carry and position objects weighing up to 25 pounds using proper body mechanics. Continuous walking, standing, bending, and climbing within customer s accounts. (i.e. Supermarkets, Convenience store, etc.) Push/pull U-boats of product from the back rooms of stores into aisles or coolers to stock shelves. Significant periods of time spent in a vehicle, traveling to accounts within assigned territory. Exposure to variety of environmental conditions: weather, temperature, lighting, and noise as determined by driving conditions. #INDPSBopsjobs
