You enjoy physical work (lifting heavy merchandise isn't an issue for you!); You are organized, efficient, methodical, autonomous and resourceful; You have experience handling goods (an asset); You are willing to work holidays and longer hours during busy periods (depending on your availability); You are open to working holidays and longer hours during busy periods (depending on your availability).
WHAT A TYPICAL WORKDAY LOOKS LIKE
Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for receiving and checking merchandise, as well as keeping the backstore well organized. In order to perform well in your role, you will need to: Make sure merchandise receipts and shipment orders are properly organized and accounted for while identifying any potential errors; Ensure all merchandise is labelled with the right price and correct if necessary; Prepare products for transfer to other stores or to the distribution centre as quickly as possible; Place products on the sales floor efficiently; Maintain a clean and organized backstore; Provide excellent customer service; Respect and apply the policies and procedure of the various head office departments (don't worry, we'll explain everything to you!); Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
