Job Description

Summary Lidl US is searching for the next Store Layout & Experience Analyst to join our team! The Store Layout & Experience Analyst plays a key supporting role in the planning, coordination, and execution of merchandising initiatives that drive optimal product placement and enhance the in‑store customer experience. Working closely with the Merchandising Manager, the role contributes to the development of planograms, store layouts, and merchandising concepts by leveraging data insights and cross‑functional collaboration. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment while building productive partnerships across teams. What You'll Do Essential Functions Oversees and manages assigned project and/or departments data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements Conduct data entry and data management for various department projects Assist with the development of training materials such as manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams, workflows, and project plans Support merchandising project activities, including planogram & floor plan creation and store layout adjustments Pull and analyze raw data to identify basic trends and provide actionable merchandising insights Communicate with regional teams and HQ departments to ensure alignment and accurate execution of merchandising initiatives Build item‑level planograms that support product turnover, space optimization, and loss reduction Assist in designing and updating interior layouts for existing stores, remodels, and new store sites Support the in‑store execution of merchandising concepts, including product placement adjustments and layout validation Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support merchandising projects and address routine operational challenges Manage daily and weekly tasks with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and effective time management Maintain and update merchandising guidelines, SOPs, and instructional materials as directed Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Merchandising team What You'll Need Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software Ability to work independently Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace tools (Word/Docs, PowerPoint/Slides, Excel/Sheets) Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and regional partners Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to take constructive feedback and flexibility to adjust direction when needed Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively Ability to make sound decisions within assigned responsibilities and time‑sensitive situations Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Software knowledge in the following a plus: Architectural (Revit, AutoCad), SAP, Visio, Power-Bi Ability to present at all business levels Bachelor's degree in Business, Architecture, Supply Chain, or Engineering Knowledge of retail operations German language skills Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience Bachelor's degree 1-3 years of experience in a related field In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above Preferred Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience Experience in Facilities, Construction, Project Management, Retail Operations, or Procurement PMP Certification Physical Job Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times What You'll Receive At Lidl, we know that in order for our people to do their best, they must be at their best.
