Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our parts department. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing automotive parts, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring timely delivery to technicians and customers. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts against invoices and purchase orders Process outgoing shipments, including packaging and labeling parts Stock parts into correct warehouse or dealership bin locations Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments Coordinate with service technicians and parts department staff for timely delivery Handle returns, warranty parts, and core processing Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment (if certified) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 6+ months of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or automotive parts experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Basic computer skills (inventory systems, data entry) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in an automotive dealership or parts warehouse Familiarity with shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight) Forklift certification (a plus, not always required) We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
