Fitzgerald Equipment Company is seeking an experienced Parts Department Team Member to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused individual with a required background in parts . Experience with forklifts, heavy equipment, automotive, agricultural, or industrial equipment parts is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Assist customers and service technicians with identifying and ordering the correct parts. Research and identify parts using manufacturer catalogs, diagrams, and computer systems. Answer incoming calls and respond to parts inquiries. Process parts orders accurately and efficiently. Receive, stock, organize, and maintain parts inventory. Monitor backorders and follow up on outstanding orders. Prepare parts for customer pickup and internal service work orders. Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and order status. Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records. Work closely with the Service and Sales Departments to support customer needs. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department. Required Qualifications Previous professional experience working in a parts department is required. Experience with forklift, heavy equipment, automotive, agricultural, or industrial equipment parts is preferred. Experience looking up and identifying parts using electronic catalogs or manufacturer systems. Strong customer service and communication skills. Strong computer and data-entry skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
