JOB SUMMARY
The person in this position has a proficient knowledge of inventory items sold in the Dealership. This position is responsible for performing a variety of in-store customer service, marketing, promoting, advertising, and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale, and delivery of parts and accessories. This position requires knowledge and understanding of an automated Parts Department's processes, techniques, and parts inventories. The person in this position is responsible for increasing the Company's Customer base and contributing to annual Sales growth by utilizing Customer Trax (Handle) software. This position may require moderate guidance and direction from the Parts Manager in the daily operations of the Department. Must maintain confidentiality of Customer information.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Excellent customer service skills. Knowledgeable about various small power tools, machinery and equipment carried by dealership. Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions. Ability to speak effectively and handle in-store tool and equipment demonstrations one-on-one and within a group. Ability to analyze and interpret basic Parts Department reports. Ability to deal with employees and public in a courteous, tactful, and patient manner. Ability to take initiative and organize responsibilities and job duties to obtain maximum effectiveness. Ability to anticipate problems, provide possible solutions and take corrective action. Ability to understand and carry out upper management requests. Good listening skills. Good written communication skills. Good observation skills. Good interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills.
