Automotive Parts Counter Person

Carroll's Auto Sales is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Parts Counter Person to join our Chevrolet and GMC dealership team. This role is responsible for assisting both retail and service customers with parts inquiries, orders, and inventory management while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting dealership operations. Key Responsibilities Assist walk-in and phone customers in identifying and purchasing correct automotive parts and accessories for Chevrolet and GMC vehicles Work closely with the service department to ensure technicians receive accurate and timely parts Utilize dealership management systems and manufacturer catalogs to locate parts and verify availability Process parts orders, returns, and warranty claims in accordance with dealership and manufacturer guidelines Maintain accurate inventory levels, including stocking, organizing, and conducting regular cycle counts Monitor backorders and communicate status updates to customers and service advisors Ensure proper pricing, invoicing, and documentation of all parts transactions Promote additional parts and accessories to maximize sales opportunities Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts counter area Work Schedule Full-time position averaging 45 hours per week Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm Compensation & Benefits Paid Holidays New Year's Day Memorial Day Independence Day (July 4th) Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day Paid Time Off (PTO) After 3 months of employment: 3 personal PTO days PTO resets annually on January 1st Vacation Time 1 week paid vacation after 1 year of employment 2 weeks paid vacation for 2-10 years of employment After 10 years: 2 weeks plus 1 additional day per year, up to a maximum of 3 weeks

$16.00 - $25.00 per hour
