A Parts Counter Representative sells spare parts of the phone or the counter. May assist customers in finding the correct spare and replacement parts for a product. Acts as first point of contact for product orders of customers and suppliers.
Casey Auto Group is seeking an experienced Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team! Are you customer-focused, organized, and wanting to build a stable career in automotive parts sales? This is an active position with a lot of standing, moving, and lifting as you sell parts to customers over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist all customers promptly and professionally. Pull stock, source hard-to-find or out-of-stock parts, manage specialized inventories (tires and gas), and process daily shipments and returns. Partner with our Service Advisors, Body Shop, and outside sales reps to review estimates, ensure correct parts pricing, and upsell companion parts. Accurately invoice parts, process payments, issue purchase orders, and maintain clean and organized work and counter areas.
What We're Looking For:
1+ years of auto parts sales experience is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Strong communication and time management skills. Organized, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a professional personal appearance. Able to ready/interpret safety and maintenance documents. Able to calculate figures/amounts including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
