Your expertise will help customers find the right parts for their vehicle needs, provide technical advice, and ensure a seamless shopping experience. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting automotive parts and accessories by understanding their vehicle requirements and providing expert recommendations. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, and repair procedures to support customer inquiries effectively. Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and tracking parts using inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and POS (Point of Sale) software. Process sales transactions accurately through cashiering and POS systems while handling cash and credit payments responsibly. Build strong customer relationships through clear communication, personalized service, and follow-up to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Collaborate with the service team to facilitate order fulfillment, vehicle maintenance scheduling, and parts availability for repairs. Utilize Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Word for reporting, inventory tracking, and documentation purposes. Engage in retail sales strategies including marketing initiatives to promote automotive parts and accessories effectively. Apply mechanical troubleshooting skills to assist customers with automotive diagnostics or basic vehicle maintenance questions. Maintain a clean, organized work environment by stocking shelves efficiently and managing inventory levels proactively. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive parts sales or dealership environments with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases. Proficiency with inventory management software such as CMMS or similar tools; familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management, order fulfillment, and record keeping. Ability to negotiate effectively with customers while maintaining professionalism and positive rapport. Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles within an automotive setting is advantageous. Knowledge of automotive parts management, POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math principles. Bilingual skills are a plus for engaging with a broader range of clients; excellent phone etiquette is essential for client communication.
