The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting prospective residents throughout the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service, and helping maintain high occupancy levels across our communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct property tours and showcase available apartment homes, amenities, and community features. Assist prospective residents with the application and leasing process, including completing applications, verifying references, and conducting background screenings. Provide accurate information regarding rental rates, lease terms, policies, and current promotions. Prepare lease agreements and coordinate lease signings to ensure all required documentation is completed accurately. Collect and process rental payments and related documentation. Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests. Maintain accurate records of leasing activity, resident communications, and applicant information. Follow Fair Housing guidelines and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Stay informed about market conditions, competitor pricing, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Previous leasing, property management, sales, or customer service experience preferred. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, leasing practices, Section 8, and LIHTC programs is a plus. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with prospective and current residents. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or certifications in real estate, business, or property management are a plus. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary starting at $21.00-$25.00 per hour , based on experience. Leasing commissions and performance incentives.
