Rare opportunity to propel your Property Management career with this Lease-Up Opportunity for a recently opened Luxury Class-A New Build! The right candidate will have the ability to be a strong, confident, and friendly multifamily professional who knows how to always deliver excellent customer service. The Leasing Agent is accountable for showing and leasing apartments to prospective residents by performing the following essential job functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Leasing Agent is accountable for showing and leasing apartments, renewing leases to existing residents and performing promotional tasks and timely follow-up with prospective residents to maximize revenue generation to meet or exceed established budget parameters. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: Provide prompt, professional, and friendly customer service to residents, prospects, and visitors. Conduct tours of the community and showcase available apartments and amenities. Respond to inquiries promptly via phone, email, and in person to maximize leasing opportunities. Follow up with prospective residents 5-7 times to ensure timely leasing decisions. Process rental applications, lease agreements, and renewals accurately and efficiently. Assist in the creation and execution of marketing strategies to drive traffic and increase leases. Update online listings, such as Craigslist and other advertising platforms, daily or weekly as required. Complete outreach marketing activities, including networking with local businesses and distributing promotional materials (minimum of 4 hours per week). Conduct regular market surveys and maintain knowledge of competitive properties. Ensure excellent curb appeal by maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of models and common areas. Support resident retention efforts through timely lease renewal communications. Assist with planning and executing community events to enhance resident engagement. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 6 months of experience in sales, leasing, or a related field preferred. Superior verbal communication skills and enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service. Proficiency with computers and familiarity with property management software is a plus. Availability to work two evenings per week and weekends as needed. Strong ability to interpret and explain rental agreements, leasing terms, and policies. Basic math skills, including knowledge of percentages and proportions. A positive attitude, self-motivation, and a professional appearance are essential. In addition to base compensation, this position is eligible to earn commissions for tenant move-ins during the property's lease-up phase.
