Overview Join our dynamic property management team as an Experienced Apartment Leasing Consultant! This is a
TEMP TO PERMANENT
opportunity. In this energetic role, you will be the welcoming face and trusted advisor for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in property leasing, customer service, and legal administrative procedures will ensure a seamless experience for clients while maximizing occupancy and revenue. Responsibilities Greet prospective residents warmly, providing detailed tours of available apartments and community amenities to showcase the property's best features. Manage lease or rental agreement processes accurately, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, L, and other legal requirements. Utilize property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite to track leads, process applications, and maintain detailed client records. Handle landlord-tenant law inquiries, resolve conflicts professionally, and negotiate lease terms to secure mutually beneficial agreements. Coordinate with maintenance teams to address property upkeep issues promptly and communicate effectively with clients regarding facilities management. Conduct thorough client communication via phone, email, and in person, maintaining excellent customer relationships through attentive service and upselling opportunities. Assist in budgeting efforts related to leasing activities and contribute to team management by supporting fellow leasing consultants in achieving shared goals. Skills Proven experience with property management software such as Yardi and OneSite; familiarity with property management tools is essential. Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC compliance, Section 8 housing programs, and contracts management. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management situations tactfully while maintaining professionalism. Demonstrated success in sales, upselling, and lease or rental agreement management within a property management or real estate environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for administrative tasks such as filing, reporting, and correspondence. Excellent phone etiquette combined with effective client communication skills that foster trust and rapport. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while supporting team management initiatives and property maintenance coordination.
