Full Job Description Bilingual Leasing Assistant PAY:
$23+/hr
SCHEDULE
Monday-Thursday 9 am
  • 5 pm / Friday 9 am
  • 4 pm
LOCATION
Newark, NJ This growing property management company is seeking an experienced and highly organized leasing assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, and a desire to help prospective residents find their perfect home.
Leasing Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the leasing office, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling walk-in inquiries.
  • Provide detailed information about available properties and pricing, and assist potential tenants in their search.
  • Conduct property tours with potential residents, highlighting key features and amenities.
  • Process rental applications and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants and prospects in both [insert languages].
  • Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor while assisting residents and addressing their concerns.
  • Collaborate with the leasing team to meet leasing goals and objectives.
  • Assist in marketing efforts, including social media and online listings, to attract potential tenants.
  • Organize and maintain leasing office files and records.
Leasing Assistant Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  • Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is a plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software is a plus.
