Job Description

Canyonstone Apartments is currently looking to hire a full time Leasing Agent to join our team! Overview Under the direction of the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager, the Leasing Agent supports and assists with all aspects of the community operations. Responsibilities Required to uphold leasing and marketing standards including telephone marketing, greeting prospective residents, gathering prospect information, setting appointments, showing ready and model apartments, closing, securing deposits, and assisting the prospective residents with the application process. Assist in preparing all paperwork specific to new lease agreements and/or renewal lease agreements. Review resident files and ledgers to determine unpaid charges and/or late fees owed, communicate with residents regarding outstanding balances, implement procedures for collecting on delinquencies, and enforce the lease to maximize revenue. Assist the Community Managers in organizing community resident activities, events and maintaining resident loyalty and retention. Gather and review applications, references, and financial information. Conduct credit and background checks to ensure potential residents are qualified. Prepare, review and execute lease documents in compliance with property standards and regulations. Collect monthly rental payments from residents. Visually inspect the property, identify maintenance needs, and report them to management. Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of model and target apartments for showings. Assist with general office duties and data entry into property management software. Submit and assign work orders and communicate scheduled work orders with maintenance technicians. Requirements Must work every Saturday from 10am to 4pm
Pay:
$14.50 - $15.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
