Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant experienced in real estate transactions and estate probate matters to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing, reviewing, and managing a variety of legal documents related to property transactions, estate administration, and probate proceedings. Responsibilities include analyzing property histories, verifying title information, examining estate records, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. The role involves supporting the drafting of contracts, deeds, closing documents, and probate filings while maintaining accurate case files. The candidate should have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Prior experience in estate settlement processes and legal procedures is preferred to facilitate smooth case management and effective client communication.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and organize legal documents related to real estate transactions, probate cases, and estate administration Assist in preparing contracts, deeds, closing documents, and probate filings Support estate administration processes including probate procedures and estate settlement Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders involved in real estate and probate matters Manage case files ensuring all documentation is accurate and current Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for legal team members Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a legal assistant or paralegal with a focus on real estate law and probate processes Strong knowledge of real estate terminology, legal procedures, and estate administration Excellent organizational and time-management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team High level of accuracy with attention to detail Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification preferred We are looking for a motivated individual eager to contribute their legal support expertise within a collaborative environment that values growth and excellence.
