Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for real estate. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for managing property leasing processes, maintaining positive relationships with tenants, and ensuring properties are well-maintained. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and the ability to effectively manage administrative tasks related to property leasing. Duties Assist prospective tenants in finding suitable rental properties by providing information about available units and conducting property tours. Negotiate lease terms with potential tenants, ensuring all agreements comply with company policies and legal requirements. Maintain accurate files and records related to leasing activities, including applications, contracts, and tenant correspondence. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure properties are in excellent condition for showings and occupancy. Utilize OneSite or similar property management software to track leasing activities and manage tenant information. Support the administrative functions of the real estate office, including filing documents and maintaining organized records. Stay informed about local real estate market trends to provide valuable insights to clients and management. Requirements Previous experience in property leasing or real estate administration is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction. Proficient in using property management software such as OneSite; familiarity with CMMS is a plus. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing files and documentation. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of property maintenance processes is beneficial but not required.
