Job Description
California Rent A Car, a fast-paced and rapidly growing company, is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and detail oriented person for a full-time position as a Rental Coordinator. This position works with some of the best commercial, television and film production companies in Los Angeles, along with catering and event companies.
JOB SUMMARY
Provide friendly, personalized and efficient service to both our corporate accounts and the general public. Work in a fast-paced environment that relies on teamwork and strong, collaborative communication skill set.RESPONSIBILITIES
Scheduling rentals in an efficient manner that maximize the fleet utilization. Coordinating deliveries and pick-ups with excellent teamwork communication. Prepare rental and return documents accurately and completely. Disclose rates, additional charges, rental terms and conditions, and obtain proper customer signatures. Organizing corporate account information in a systematic format. Invoicing agreements (opening and closing rental contract) accurately and promptly. Be knowledgeable on vehicle fleet and be able to provide any additional information necessary regarding option and/or additional services offered. Answer phones and respond to emails in a friendly and prompt manner. Assist customers by effectively responding to or resolving customer service issues. Maintain a professional appearance in both personal dress and office cleanliness. Perform other customer related duties to ensure our service exceeds customer expectations. Analyze and contact customers about vehicles that are out beyond their expected return date. Perform other duties as assigned by management.REQUIREMENTS
- AA degree or 2 years relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Extremely high energy level and great at multi-tasking
- Attention to detail and organized
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving records (no DUI, reckless driving or any other serious driving offenses in the last 5 years)
