Job Description

About the Position We Bring The Party Rentals is a growing event rental company serving Buffalo and Western New York. We provide tents, tables, chairs, inflatables, games, concessions, and other rental equipment for backyard parties, weddings, corporate events, and other celebrations. We are looking for a dependable, motivated Event Rental Operations & Customer Service Associate to join our team. This is a unique, hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety and wants the opportunity to grow with a small business. The primary focus of the position will be warehouse operations and preparing rental equipment for upcoming events , but we are looking for someone who can become a versatile member of our team. Depending on the needs of the business, you may spend part of your day preparing equipment in the warehouse, assist with a delivery or setup, answer customer calls and inquiries, prepare quotes, update products on our website, create social media content, or help find new ways to generate bookings. Our business is seasonal, so responsibilities will change throughout the year. During our busy event season, more time will be spent preparing orders and assisting with rental operations and deliveries. During slower months, the position will shift more toward customer service, sales, marketing, website updates, social media, and projects that help generate future business. The more value you can bring across different areas of the company, the more opportunity there will be for hours, responsibility, and advancement.
Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:

Our busiest event season is generally spring through fall, when additional hours may be available and occasional weekend or evening availability may be needed. During slower months, hours will depend on rental volume as well as available customer service, sales, marketing, warehouse, and business-development work. Because this is a seasonal business, we're especially interested in someone who can help create value during slower periods by responding quickly to customers, following up on leads, improving our online presence, promoting available inventory, and helping generate additional bookings.
