Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Sales Clerk and become the friendly face that enhances every customer's shopping experience! In this energetic role, you'll be at the heart of our store operations, engaging with customers, showcasing products, and ensuring smooth transactions. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help drive sales and foster a welcoming environment for all shoppers. Whether assisting with product demos or managing retail sales transactions, your proactive approach will make a real difference every day. There is also room for advancement to assistant manager!! That included a pay raise, insurance, vacation, PTO and 401k Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to meet their needs Operate cash registers (POS systems) accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers and promote upselling opportunities Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining store cleanliness Manage cash drawer handling and ensure proper cash register operations with attention to retail math accuracy Provide knowledgeable assistance on store products, including grocery items if applicable Support supervising staff by overseeing daily store activities and ensuring adherence to policies Cleaning at the end of your shift Skills Proficiency in POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales transactions Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and bilingual abilities preferred Experience in upselling, product demos, and merchandising techniques Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in a retail setting Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, stock management, and grocery store operations if relevant Basic math skills for handling cash, making change, and balancing registers accurately Customer service expertise with a friendly attitude and problem-solving abilities Embark on a rewarding career where your energy fuels customer satisfaction!
