Your expertise will help customers make confident decisions, ensuring they find the perfect piece that meets their style and budget. Duties Assist customers in selecting diamonds and fine jewelry by providing detailed product information, including cut, clarity, color, carat weight, and overall quality. Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase jewelry features and craftsmanship. Educate customers on diamond grading, certification details, and proper jewelry care to enhance their shopping experience. Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring smooth checkout processes. Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach. Stock and organize jewelry displays, ensuring all merchandise is well-presented, clean, and properly labeled. Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and processing returns or exchanges with professionalism. Skills Extensive knowledge of retail store products, especially diamonds and fine jewelry. Proven supervising experience in a retail setting with the ability to lead by example. Strong communication skills with the ability to conduct product demos confidently and clearly explain technical details. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively. Excellent phone etiquette for engaging with clients remotely and answering inquiries professionally. Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, and retail math for accurate cash handling and register operations. Skilled in merchandising techniques to create attractive displays that highlight product features. Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for quick calculations during sales processes. Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build lasting relationships through attentive support and expert advice.
