Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive exceptional shopping experiences. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping journey Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cash drawer management, and balancing registers at shift end Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about store merchandise to enhance their shopping experience Upsell products by recommending complementary items and informing customers about current promotions and specials Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and accessible for shoppers Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries or follow-up calls Support merchandising efforts by organizing products according to store standards and assisting with inventory management Experience Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude are essential Supervising experience is a plus, especially when guiding new team members or managing daily store operations Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions and cash handling Bilingual skills are highly valued to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interactions and professional phone etiquette Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies Ability to stand for extended periods, perform basic math calculations quickly, and handle stock replenishment efficiently
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
