In this pivotal role, you will oversee store activities during your shift, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient inventory management, and smooth operational flow. Duties Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to optimize product availability and presentation Oversee employee orientation, training, and development to foster a knowledgeable and engaged team Conduct interviewing and recruiting efforts to fill staffing needs with qualified candidates Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and manage store budgets to ensure financial accuracy Ensure compliance with safety policies, store policies, and operational procedures while maintaining a positive work environment Requirements Proven supervisory or managerial experience within the retail industry or similar fast-paced environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable Demonstrated experience with POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math calculations Knowledge of retail sales techniques, merchandising, pricing strategies, and customer service excellence Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic bookkeeping tasks Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy setting Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, and training & development processes Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus but not required Join us as a Shift Manager where your leadership fuels success!
