Full Job Description Job:
Cultivation Team Member (I) Cannect Wellness, a premium craft cannabis cultivator and product manufacturer, was awarded one of the first Craft Grower licenses issued by the State of Illinois. After completing construction in 2023, the company is one of the first Craft Growers to become operational in the State. Cannect's facility is conveniently located in Franklin Park, Illinois.Job Responsibilities:
Assist in all horticultural tasks and activities from clone to harvest, including but not limited to: watering and irrigation, cloning/ asexual propagation, transplanting, pruning, topping, defoliating, trellising, and harvesting. Non-horticultural duties including, but not limited to, cleaning, integrated pest management tasks, inventory management, 5S, etc. Monitoring and recording daily environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels. Gather and record daily watering and irrigation data (EC, pH and total volume. Apply foliar feeds and preventative sprays when directed. Scout for detrimental plant pests/diseases for documentation. Operating and maintaining cultivation department systems/equipment in good working order. Stocking and organization of horticultural supplies. Cleaning, sanitation, setup, and breakdown of all cultivation areas and work spaces. Calibration and cleaning of sensors and meters. Maintain and ensure proper storage and sanitation of all equipment and tools, such as shop vacs, pumps, hoses, carts, pruners, sheers, stools, buckets, plant waste receptacles, sprayers, and PPE gear (5S). Perform plant inventory and 5S audits. Perform any other job-related tasks assigned by your manager or supervisor. Follow all company standard operating procedures (SOP's), as well as good manufacturing and agricultural practices (GMP and GAP) Maintain accurate records of all practices pertaining to cultivator responsibilities (input logs, waste records, plant inventory, etc…)Compliance:
Ensure cultivation operation is fully compliant with state regulations and federal and state law. Maintaining strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals and equipment used in the grow and document production by completing forms, reports, logs and records as required.Job requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Must pass any and all required background checks Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry Must be a minimum of 21 years of age Must be approved by our state regulating agency to receive a cannabis agent badge Must be able to work weekends and holidays.Job Skills and Abilities:
Excellent time-management skills. Ability to effectively plan and prioritize. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work with regulated material in a fast-paced environment. Ability to focus & attention to detail. Ability to communicate both verbally and written. Work with BioTrack THC and other inventory management software systems.Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and/ or reach for extended periods of time daily. Ability to lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks. This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut/manipulate small objects. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lb.
