If you enjoy helping customers, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do As a Sales Center Representative, you'll be one of the first people our customers interact with. You'll assist contractors, builders, and homeowners by providing excellent customer service while ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone. Process sales orders, quotes, and invoices accurately. Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs. Coordinate with the yard, warehouse, and delivery teams to fulfill customer orders. Answer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, and delivery. Maintain product knowledge across lumber, building materials, hardware, and related products. Assist with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining an organized sales floor. Handle cash, credit card, and account transactions. Build lasting relationships with customers through exceptional service. Support the team with additional duties as needed. Why Scherer Bros.? Ability to multitask in a busy retail and sales environment. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn business software. Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed. Previous retail, customer service, or building materials experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of lumber and building materials is a plus.
