Job Description
Sales Associate — Blue Petal Co. Belmont, NC | Part-Time Blue Petal Co. is a new mercantile opening in Belmont this October — a curated shop and gathering space built around thoughtfully made goods, hands-on workshops, and the idea that everyday life deserves a little more beauty and connection. We're looking for a Sales Associate to help welcome customers and bring the shop to life. What you'll do: Greet customers warmly, and share product knowledge in order to add value to the experience Help style and maintain displays and merchandising Support workshop setup and breakdown (floral arranging, candle making, and seasonal classes) Restock inventory and keep the shop looking its best Ring up sales and help with day-to-day shop operations Self starter when it comes to duties and new ideas for the shop Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions, and refunds What we're looking for: No retail experience required — just a friendly, easygoing personality and a willingness to learn Genuine interest in the brand (home goods, florals, handmade/local products, or hosting/gathering) Reliable and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team Available for a mix of weekday and weekend shifts
