Music & Arts seeks a PT Senior Sales Associate to support our mission-driven retail environment. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons while delivering exceptional customer service. You'll drive sales, process rentals and enrollments, maintain merchandising and inventory standards, and help support local school music programs. Ideal candidates have strong retail or music sales experience, a passion for music education, and enjoy working in a collaborative, student-focused team setting. Responsibilities Drive in-store sales of instruments, accessories, and lesson programs, meeting or exceeding targets Provide expert product guidance to students, parents, and educators in band and orchestra needs Deliver outstanding customer service, including greeting, consultations, and issue resolution Process sales, rentals, returns, and lesson enrollments accurately using POS systems Maintain merchandising standards, signage, and product displays to support promotions Support inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and periodic cycle counts Promote and schedule private lessons and educational services to build long-term relationships Collaborate with school service reps to support local school music programs and events Assist in opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting Uphold a clean, safe, inclusive store environment aligned with company culture and policies Required Skills Retail sales Customer service POS systems Cash handling Product knowledge - musical instruments Merchandising Inventory management Lesson and rental program enrollment Communication Cross-selling and upselling
