Salary Range $23-28 per hour Showroom and Firearm Sales Associate Griffin & Howe is seeking a knowledgeable, personable, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences across our showroom, phone, and online sales channels. The Sales Associate will assist customers with firearms, hunting equipment, apparel, and accessories while maintaining a high level of personalized service, professionalism, and attention to detail that defines the Griffin & Howe experience. Responsibilities Provide exceptional, personalized customer service in the showroom, over the phone, and through online sales channels. Assist customers with product selection by understanding their needs and providing knowledgeable recommendations on firearms, hunting equipment, apparel, and accessories. Process firearm transactions accurately and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, ATF requirements, and company procedures. Complete and maintain accurate ATF Form 4473 documentation and other required transaction records. Develop and maintain strong product knowledge through ongoing training and experience. Confidently demonstrate products and explain features, functionality, and appropriate uses to customers. Process and fulfill online orders accurately and efficiently, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment or customer pickup. Maintain an organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing showroom and gun counter. Replenish merchandise and maintain accurate pricing, signage, and product displays. Assist with seasonal merchandising and showroom floor moves as needed. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries by phone, email, and online channels. Keep work areas clean, organized, and properly stocked. Follow all Griffin & Howe policies, procedures, and customer service standards. Represent the Griffin & Howe brand with professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional service. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 0-2 years of retail experience preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. Knowledge of firearms, ammunition, hunting equipment, apparel, and outdoor merchandise. Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local firearms laws and regulations, including ATF requirements. Strong customer service and sales skills. Ability to provide personalized product recommendations based on customer needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy. Ability to accurately process transactions, required documentation, and online orders. Ability and willingness to learn new products and maintain current product knowledge. Ability to merchandise, organize, stock, and maintain showroom and counter displays. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while consistently representing the Griffin & Howe standard of service. Schedule & Work Requirements Full-time, onsite position. Must be able to work a 10-hour shift. Must be available to work holidays. Must be able to work weekends.
