$20-$25/hour About the Role Beer Universe, a growing multi-location beverage retail chain in NY's Capital Region, is looking for a detail-oriented Office Helper to join our Malta office and support central ordering and inventory operations across all 15 of our locations. This role is heavily focused on POS system work and CGO (computer-generated ordering) — we'll train you on our specific process, but beer/beverage knowledge going in is a big plus. What You'll Do Place orders and assist our head ordering person across all 15 Beer Universe locations Run CGO ordering and work daily in our POS system to pull sales data, inventory levels, and order history Make sure all deals are being hit and pricing is accurate across orders Track inventory store-by-store and flag low-stock or overstock items Organize and update ordering spreadsheets and distributor export files Support seasonal/holiday ordering prep for the full footprint Communicate with store and territory managers on ordering needs and discrepancies What We're Looking For Knowledge of beer and beverage products — brands, styles, categories — is a big plus Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets (basic formulas a plus) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills — you'll be juggling orders for 15 stores Willingness to learn our POS system and CGO ordering process (full training provided) Reliable, self-directed, and able to meet deadlines Based in or able to commute to
