Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Service Counter Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting with daily operations and performing service counter work. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to engage with customers effectively. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment that encourages customer loyalty, satisfaction and assist in hitting daily sales goals. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Utilize retail math to assist customers with inquiries regarding pricing, discounts, and product availability. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately and securely. Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability for customers. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, enhancing their shopping experience. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products that meet customer needs. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any customer concerns promptly. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom areas. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Proficiency in retail math for accurate pricing and inventory management. Experience with cash handling procedures and operating cash registers. Ability to sell products through effective communication and upselling techniques. Experience in conducting product demos is beneficial but not required. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well in a team environment.
