Job Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Associate and become the friendly face that helps customers find the perfect products for their outdoor spaces and home needs. Whether guiding customers through gardening tips, floral arrangements, or outdoor maintenance solutions, your enthusiasm and knowledge will inspire customers to bring their visions to life. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation Assist customers with product selection, including plants, gardening tools, outdoor furniture, and floral arrangements Provide expert advice on lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture, and plant identification to enhance customer satisfaction Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an attractive shopping environment Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and organizing supplies efficiently Communicate effectively with team members via phone or in person to coordinate store activities and customer requests Demonstrate outdoor work experience by assisting with garden setup, floral design projects, or landscape maintenance tasks when needed Skills Strong knowledge of lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance techniques Experience with floral design and plant identification to assist customer inquiries confidently Proficiency in retail math for accurate cash handling and sales transactions Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail sales processes Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Organizational skills for stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and managing inventory efficiently Customer service orientation with a proactive attitude to meet customer needs promptly and professionally Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to transforming outdoor spaces while delivering outstanding service.
