Job Description
About The Turn The Turn Virtual Golf Center is a new premium indoor golf facility opening in Spring City, PA. Featuring six TrackMan simulator bays, an upscale lounge, memberships, leagues, lessons, club fittings, events, and year-round golf, our goal is to create an elevated golf experience and a strong community for golfers of all skill levels. As we prepare to open, we're looking for an experienced, personable, and motivated PGA Golf Professional to serve as our Lead Golf Professional and primary coach. This is a unique opportunity to get involved with The Turn from the beginning, build a strong book of business, and help shape our golf instruction and player-development programs as we grow. Position Overview The Lead PGA Golf Professional will serve as the primary golf instructor and golf professional at The Turn. We're looking for someone who is passionate about coaching and equally comfortable working with beginners, recreational golfers, juniors, and experienced players. This person should be knowledgeable, approachable, professional, and excited about building relationships with our members and guests. Because The Turn is a new facility, this is more than simply stepping into an existing lesson schedule. You'll have the opportunity to build your clientele and help us develop our coaching, club fitting, clinic, and player-development programs from the ground up. Responsibilities Provide private and semi-private golf lessons using TrackMan technology Serve as the primary golf instructor and coaching presence at The Turn Develop individualized improvement plans for golfers of varying skill levels Utilize TrackMan data, video, and technology to enhance instruction Conduct club fittings and help develop The Turn's club fitting program Develop and lead golf clinics, group lessons, junior programs, and other instructional offerings Assist with leagues, tournaments, member events, and competitions Build relationships with members and guests to develop a strong recurring lesson clientele Help develop lesson packages and seasonal instructional programs Participate in corporate and private-event golf programming when applicable Collaborate with ownership on new ideas and opportunities to grow instruction, fittings, memberships, leagues, and overall golfer engagement Represent The Turn professionally within the local golf community Help create a welcoming, high-quality golf culture within the facility Qualifications Preferred qualifications include: PGA Member or PGA Associate actively working toward PGA membership Previous golf instruction or coaching experience Strong understanding of golf swing mechanics and player development Experience with TrackMan or similar golf technology Club fitting experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable teaching golfers across a wide range of ages and abilities Ability to develop relationships and build a recurring client base Professional, personable, motivated, and entrepreneurial Interested in helping grow a new golf facility and instructional program An existing lesson clientele or relationships within the local golf community are a plus, but not required. Compensation & Earning Opportunities This position will initially be structured as a 1099 independent contractor opportunity , with compensation driven primarily by the golf services you provide.
