Duties Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assess their automotive needs with active listening and expert guidance Provide detailed product information, recommend appropriate parts or services, and upsell additional offerings to maximize customer value Assist customers with vehicle diagnostics inquiries, service writing, and explaining repair procedures in clear terms Process sales transactions accurately using cash handling procedures while maintaining a balanced register Maintain organized inventory of automotive parts and supplies; ensure shelves are stocked and products are correctly labeled Support the team with automotive diagnostics knowledge and mechanical insights to enhance customer trust and satisfaction Qualifications Previous dealership experience or background in automotive service management highly preferred Strong knowledge of automotive repair including oil changes, brake repair, tire service, alignments, transmissions, suspension systems, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body work Experience in auto estimating and service writing to accurately prepare quotes and invoices Proven ability in upselling automotive products and services to meet sales goals Mechanical knowledge combined with mechanic experience or auto technician background is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and procedures is advantageous Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure Knowledge of Gates Hydraulic hoses and fittings is a plus Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering top-tier automotive solutions!
