Who We Are Gobbler's Market is a locally owned convenience store and food destination in Dayton, TN. We serve our community 24 hours a day with fresh hot food, fuel, and friendly service. We are growing and we want people who want to be part of something local and real. The Role At Gobbler's our Store Associates do it all. One hour you might be running the register, the next you are restocking shelves, and after that you are prepping food in the kitchen. We are a small team and everyone pulls their weight. If you are someone who likes staying busy, takes pride in their work, and enjoys being around people — this is the job for you. What You Will Do Welcome every customer with a friendly attitude and fast service at the register Handle cash and card transactions accurately using our POS system Prepare and serve hot food items including pizza, chicken, and biscuits following our food safety and quality standards Keep the fountain area, coffee station, and kitchen clean and stocked throughout your shift Restock shelves, coolers, and displays and rotate product using FIFO Clean restrooms, floors, and all store areas on a regular schedule during your shift Change trash cans at the start of your shift and throughout as needed Check and log food temperatures to make sure everything is fresh and safe Complete your opening or closing tasks as assigned — nothing left for the next person to fix Flag anything that needs attention — low stock, equipment issues, customer concerns — to your shift lead or manager What We Are Looking For Positive attitude — this is the most important thing we hire for Reliable — you show up on time, in uniform, every shift you are scheduled Comfortable doing multiple things in one shift — register, kitchen, cleaning, stocking Can stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs regularly Available mornings, evenings, or weekends — we have shifts that fit different schedules Previous experience in convenience store, fast food, retail, or food service is a plus but not required — we will train the right person What You Get $9.25-$11/hr based on experience Flexible shifts — morning, afternoon, and evening options Monthly attendance and performance bonus opportunity Paid training — we set you up to succeed from day one Real path to Shift Lead and beyond as Gobbler's grows A team that has your back and a workplace you will actually enjoy coming to
