Whether you're helping customers find what they need, keeping the store stocked and organized, or preparing fresh food in our deli locations, you'll play an important role in creating a great experience for every customer. What You'll Do As a Team Member, you will: Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases. Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store, including sales floor, restrooms, coolers, and common areas. Receive, stock, rotate, and merchandise inventory to ensure shelves remain full, organized, and products stay fresh. Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to the Team Leader. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and legal requirements, including age verification for alcohol and tobacco sales. Help maintain a secure shopping environment by reporting safety or security concerns. Support the team by performing additional duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities at Deli Locations Team Members working in stores with a deli will also: Prepare and cook food according to company recipes and food safety standards. Operate kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, ovens, and microwaves. Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served with quality and consistency. Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area. Take customer food orders and provide friendly, professional service. Monitor food inventory, rotate products, and assist with stocking and inventory counts. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
