Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet their shopping needs Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash register operations Assist customers with product demos and upselling to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and merchandising products effectively Handle retail store product knowledge to answer customer questions confidently and guide purchasing decisions Manage cash drawer handling with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling and reconciliation at shift end Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support in inventory management by conducting stock counts and assisting with product replenishment Promote store promotions and upselling techniques to maximize sales potential Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership qualities in team settings Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage confidently with customers and team members Strong phone etiquette skills for professional remote interactions Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory counts Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and customer service best practices Experience in upselling strategies to increase sales while ensuring customer satisfaction Prior grocery store experience is advantageous for understanding food safety standards and product placement Join us in creating an energetic shopping environment where every customer leaves satisfied!
