  • 52 Summary Here is an AWI Certified Casework/Cabinet company that designs and manufactures custom cabinets for various commercial companies in the PNW and across the U.
S. They are looking for a talented and experienced shop lead to come on board to assist with our cabinet production, working collaboratively with our team to continue the tradition of maintaining their high-quality production and attention to detail on behalf of our clients. Responsibilities
  • Oversee cabinet production operations by operating and maintaining woodworking equipment such as table saws, edge banders, and other power tools to ensure high-quality output.
  • Ensure compliance with AWI specifications and company quality standards, maintaining precision, consistency, and attention to detail throughout all stages of production.
  • Coordinate cabinet assembly and installation processes, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and meet client expectations and AWI quality standards.
  • Manage and supervise a small team of cabinet makers and assemblers, ensuring productivity, quality standards, and a collaborative team environment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to create accurate cut lists and guide the manufacturing and assembly of custom cabinetry. Requirements
  • Familiarity and proficiency with wood working/cabinet making equipment, which includes but is not limited to:
  • Familiarity with AWI specifications (AWI
  • Architectural Woodworking Institute)
  • Drafting experience with AutoCAD preferred, but not required.
  • Manage a small team of cabinet makers/assemblers
  • Five (5) plus years of industry experience
  • Cabinet assembly & installation experience
  • Ability to read plans and specifications
  • Ability to create cut list
  • Table Saw
  • Edge Bander
