OVERVIEW
As the Store Manager, you will lead the overall performance of the store. You will be responsible for driving sales and profitability, developing a high-performing team, delivering an elevated customer experience, and ensuring consistent execution of the brand's visual and operational standards. You will approach the business with an ownership mindset, using performance results and customer insights to identify opportunities and take action. Through visible leadership, ongoing coaching, and clear accountability, you will create an environment where employees are engaged, customers feel welcomed, and the store is positioned for continued success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the store's daily business and take ownership of sales, profitability, customer experience, talent, and operational performance. Analyze sales results and key performance indicators to identify opportunities and establish clear priorities for the team. Lead by example on the sales floor and ensure customers receive an elevated, personalized experience. Build lasting customer relationships through outreach, appointment setting, follow-up, and other clienteling activities. Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and retain a talented and diverse store team. Set clear performance expectations and provide timely feedback, recognition, and accountability. Develop employees for expanded responsibilities and future leadership opportunities. Create an inclusive, collaborative, and results-driven work environment. Schedule employees effectively based on customer traffic, workload, payroll expectations, and the needs of the business. Ensure the consistent execution of visual merchandising, product presentation, replenishment, and store-maintenance standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment. Oversee inventory management, cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and other daily store operations. Protect company assets by reinforcing safety, loss-prevention, and operational policies. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment requirements. Partner with the Regional Manager and other business partners to communicate results, address challenges, and execute company initiatives. Support local outreach and relationship-building opportunities that increase brand awareness and customer engagement. Perform additional responsibilities based on the needs of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least two years of successful retail management or supervisory experience; fashion or specialty retail experience preferred. Demonstrated success in driving sales and improving store performance. Strong leadership skills with experience recruiting, coaching, developing, and retaining employees. Proven ability to create a customer-focused and results-driven store culture. Experience using business results and performance metrics to identify opportunities and guide decisions. Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Experience with customer outreach, appointment setting, or clienteling is preferred. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in retail, business, or a related field is a plus.
