Must have open availablity Position Overview We are looking for a motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our facility. This leadership role is responsible for supervising employees, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining safety and compliance, and supporting the overall success of the site. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can effectively manage people, coordinate daily operations, and maintain a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and support employees to ensure a productive work environment. Supervise daily site operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Cross-train at other facilities to expand operational knowledge. Create, maintain, and execute operational documentation and Master Books as needed. Monitor staffing needs and help control overtime when possible. Address employee performance concerns and administer corrective actions when necessary. Oversee the maintenance and documentation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Ensure generators and other operational equipment are properly maintained and ready for use. Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and operational materials. Complete daily supervisory checklists and operational reports. Conduct routine facility inspections and coordinate building maintenance and repairs. Ensure all operational logs are accurate and up to date, including: MHE logs, security logs, visitor sign-in log, vendor activity log, railcar tracking, temporary employee sign-in logs Keep the facility and yard clean, organized, and safe. Identify and resolve safety concerns promptly. Ensure inventory accuracy and operational readiness each day. Coordinate railcar spotting and unloading while helping avoid demurrage charges. Maintain timely communication with the main office and other departments. Ensure business licenses, fire extinguisher inspections, emergency preparedness plans, and fire drills remain current. Collaborate with internal teams to support operational success. Qualifications Previous supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, transportation, or industrial operations preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and other basic computer applications. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and operational excellence. Ability to work flexible hours as business needs require.
