Oversee purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maintain optimal inventory levels. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, cash handling, and sales tracking with accuracy and integrity. Implement effective inventory control measures to reduce shrinkage and improve stock accuracy. Coordinate shift schedules, manage payroll processing, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate operational updates, sales targets, and customer service expectations. Experience Proven management experience within the retail industry, preferably in grocery or similar fast-paced environments. Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience in hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating staff members. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping practices, and payroll processing. Experience in inventory management techniques such as stock ordering, stock rotation, and shrink reduction strategies. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
